Chicago — The deadline for submitting nominations for Beltone’s 13th Annual Larry Mauldin Award is February 6, 2012. The award will be presented to the winners at the 2012 AAA convention in Boston.

Presented since 1999, the Mauldin Award is described by Beltone as an award “that celebrates individuals who have demonstrated unsurpassed dedication to excellence in education and professionalism in the hearing care industry, and who have unselfishly given back to the profession, the community and the hearing impaired.”

The annual award was created to honor the accomplishments of the late Larry Mauldin for his work and commitment to education in the field of audiology. Mauldin’s passion was to advance the knowledge of audiology and hearing aid fittings to as broad an audience as possible.

As in previous years, the 2012 Mauldin Award will be presented at the 2012 AAA Convention in Boston at a special event hosted by Beltone.

All nominations should be sent to Cydney Fox, AuD (Email: [email protected]) no later than February 6, 2012.
