On August 22 and 23, EarQ members from Robert A. Gadlage MD & Associates in Duluth, Ga, and Precious Hearing Inc in Monroe, Mich, joined members of the EarQ team at the 2014 National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA) Legends World Sports Conference in Cancun, Mexico.

Representatives from EarQ attended the Legend’s World Sports Conference in Cancun, Mexico to help educate members of the NBRPA about their hearing health and provide free hearing screenings and video ear inspections.

While interacting with the former players and their families and discussing the importance of maintaining hearing health, the team provided free hearing screenings, video ear inspections, and discussed the benefits of today’s advanced hearing solutions.

As a member discount program provider for the NBRPA, EarQ says it is committed to furthering hearing health awareness at high-profile events such as this in order to ultimately educate more of the general public about hearing loss and today’s advanced solutions. “Supporting our partnerships, like the National Basketball Retired Players Association, and delivering quality healthcare services to them is extremely rewarding for our affiliated hearing professionals,” says Clifford Carey, communications director for EarQ. “Considering how engaged the NBRPA’s membership is in understanding their own personal hearing range and, in some cases, its limitations, we could not be more pleased and honored to support such a prestigious group.”
