The HearStrong Foundation announced that it worked to inspire new attitudes to hearing loss and hearing solutions at the eighth annual Omaha Health, Wellness, and Fitness Expo at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Neb, April 11-12, 2015. The HearStrong team, which included 12 volunteers from Boys Town National Research Hospital and a selected provider of EarQ, the HearStrong’s main sponsor, worked together to help attendees understand the important role that hearing better plays in ensuring one’s overall physical, mental, and emotional health.

According to HearStrong, the team inspired attendees to make their hearing health a priority, providing free hearing screenings and explaining the benefits of utilizing available hearing technology.

“We were so happy to join the Omaha Health Expo in its passion and enthusiasm for helping people live their healthiest lives,” said Ed Keller, founder and president of the HearStrong Foundation. “By participating in these types of interactive events, we hope to continue to inspire the more than 30 million Americans with untreated hearing loss to improve their lives by choosing to hear better.”
