Enhanced Indigo Series Offers More Premium Features and Moxi Styling

PLYMOUTH, Minn — Unitron Hearing, Plymouth, Minn, announces the enhanced Indigo™ series with even more premium technologies and innovative features that continue to deliver brilliant sound and high customer satisfaction.

Building on Indigo’s sound technology, the enhanced Indigo product family introduces even more sophisticated, adaptive technologies including antiShock™, speech enhancement LD (level dependent), and myMusic™. These features further complement Indigo’s outstanding performance including autoPro4™.

Indigo’s new antiShock technology is designed to eliminate the discomfort of sudden impulse sounds, such as the clattering of dishes or the abrupt slamming of a door, without compromising wearers’ abilities to stay connected to their environment and hear speech clearly. With speech enhancement LD, Indigo identifies the presence of speech in the listening situation and increases gain in any of the channels where speech is the dominant signal to improve clarity and ease of listening.

Indigo’s new myMusic is an innovative approach to tailoring clients’ personal enjoyment of music. With myMusic, hearing professionals can easily shape the frequency response based on clients’ listening preferences. Clients enjoy a personalized, enhanced listening experience that brings out the rich, full tones of music.

Indigo Moxi™ and OnBoard™ Control

Indigo is now available in the new Moxi™ style, the ultra-small, no compromise BTE supporting canal receiver technology (CRT). Indigo Moxi offers a choice of external receivers. The Indigo product line, including Indigo Moxi, Indigo Moda™, and Indigo 13 M BTE, features an innovative onBoard™ control. Selectable in U:fit™ onBoard control allows hearing instrument wearers to stay in control by either accessing manual listening programs or a volume control.

“With Indigo, we have pushed the technology envelope to create the most competitive, premium, automatic hearing instrument available,” says Cameron Hay, president and CEO of Unitron Hearing. “Indigo offers enormous flexibility to clients, exceptional premium features, and now, more styling options to meet the needs of your most discriminating clients.”
