Phonak and Unitron Hearing Introduce New Products at UHA

NUREMBERG, Germany — Sonova introduced four new product families under its main brands Phonak and Unitron Hearing at the European Union of Hearing Acousticians 52nd International Congress in Nuremberg, Germany.


Phonak
Based on the newly developed CORE (Communication Optimized Real-audio Engine) platform, Exélia, the new Phonak product family, features what the company describes as "sophisticated control and unlimited connectivity." Exélia is reported to allow fast exchange of real-audio data between hearing systems and between hearing systems and entertainment devices, building what Phonak calls the first Body Area Network.

Naída, another new entry from Phonak, provides exceptional audibility and clarity, wireless capabilites and small, water resistant casing make the device what Phonak call the "ultimate UltraPower solution."

The FM transmitter inspiro and the FM receivers MLxi and ML10i are the first FM products based on the new Dynamic FM technology which enhances speech understanding in noisy situations.

Unitron Hearing
Yuu is an interactive, automatic hearing solution the company says allows wearers to adjust adaptive features and "teach" their hearing instruments to make adjustments automatically.
