SeboTek Hearing Systems Hotvets experience includes: inventing the Adaptive Compression® circuit and the first frequency synthesized FM auditory trainer while at Telex Communications, Burnsville, Minn. Hotvet has designed cochlear implants and designed the first programmable ITE for 3M Hearing Health, St. Paul, Minn. Hotvet served as vice president of information technology while at GN ReSound, Bloomington, Minn, and is currently a member of ANSI S3/WG48, the group responsible for establishing standards for hearing aid measurement. Oticon Inc Oticon has awarded a total of $60,000 in scholarships to the students, all of whom are full-time graduate-level students at accredited US academic institutions. Among the essay winners were Erin McAlister of the University of Maryland, College Park, Md, Emily Anne Bondus of Purdue University, West LaFayette, Ind, and Kendell Vincent of Arizona State University, Tempe, Ariz. Funding for the scholarship program is provided by Oticon Inc and the Oticon Foundation, which is funded by income derived from its ownership of the majority of shares in the Oticon Company.
