The EAR Foundation, Nashville, Tenn, was the official hearing protection provider for the 2006 Austin City Limits Music Festival September 15-17 in Austin, Tex. The three-day festival showcased 180 bands on eight different stages, and the EAR Foundation was on hand to provide hearing protection from Howard Leight.
“Hearing loss is an unfortunate consequence of working in a loud environment,” says Suzanne Wyatt, executive director of the EAR Foundation. “It is especially hard on those who work behind the scenes in the music industry, who bring that magical music to all of us who enjoy going to concerts and seeing our favorite artists.
