Aurora, Neb — Captioned service provider Hamilton Relay will make several presentations at the California State University Northridge (CSUN) Center on Disabilities’ 27th Annual International Technology and Persons with Disabilities Conference.

The conference, held February 27-March 3, 2012, at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Diego, features technology solutions to help remove barriers that prevent the full participation of individuals with disabilities in educational, workplace, and social settings. Last year’s conference reportedly drew more than 4,800 attendees.

Speech-language pathologists Judy Montgomery, PhD, CCC-SLP, and BJ Gallagher, PhD, CCC-SLP, will co-present Hamilton Relay’s Speech-to-Speech (STS) solution on Friday, March 2, in the "Annie AB" suite. The STS service enables individuals who have difficulty speaking to communicate over the telephone.

Hamilton product manager Mitchell Levy will also be presenting the Hamilton CapTel Family of solutions on March 1 in the "Maggie" suite.

"Our company is devoted to keeping individuals who have difficulty speaking or who experience hearing loss, connected through the use of technology," said Dixie Ziegler, vice president of Hamilton Relay. "CSUN’s annual conference will be a showcase for our many assistive solutions, and we’re thrilled to have Drs Montgomery and Gallagher co-present on our behalf."
