The Georgia Academy of Audiology will hold its 5th annual conference at the Marietta Conference Center and Resort February 1-3, 2007, featuring an impressive venue of presenters and events.

Two pre-conference workshops will be held on Thursday, February 1:

  • Auditory Processing Disorders, by Gail Whitelaw, PhD
  • Balance Disorders, by Richard Gans, PhD

Friday and Saturday offer a full schedule of seminars and presentations by world-class experts in hearing care, including Victor Bray, PhD, Carmen Brewer, PhD, Laurel Christensen, PhD, David Fabry, PhD, Francis Kuk, PhD, Alan Freint, MD, Richard Gans, PhD, Craig Newman, PhD, Paul Pessis, AuD, Tom Powers, PhD, Don Schum, PhD, Johnnie Sexton, Robert Sweetow , PhD, Tim
Trine, PhD, Michael Valente, PhD, and Daniel Shumaier, PhD. Several of these audiologists will also be participating in a "Great Debate," covering many hot topics in audiology.

The GAA will also be having a Silent Auction to raise money for its Georgia PAC at the Friday night Cocktail Party.
