Louisville, Ky — Hearing Healthcare Management (HHM) has named Joseph W. Neve, AuD, CCC-A, PhD, as its new Minnesota regional director of Avada Audiology & Hearing Care Centers. He was previously president of HHM’s subsidiary, Neve Inc.

The regional director position was previously held by Neve’s father, James Neve, who continues to serve HHM’s national organization as one of its board’s managing directors. Avada operates more than 280 hearing health care centers nationwide and has 30 locations in the metropolitan Twin Cities, central and northeastern Minnesota, and western Wisconsin areas.

Joseph Neve (pictured right) joined Avada in 1991 after receiving his BS degree in finance and marketing from Marquette University in Milwaukee. He received his MA degree in Communication Disorders-Audiology from the University of Minnesota in 1996 and his Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida in 2008.

“Joe has been a strong advocate for top patient care within Avada for many years,” said HHM CEO Steve Barlow, in the press statement. “He has demonstrated his leadership abilities throughout our company. It is time for Joe to assume the role of regional director for Minnesota for the future growth of our organization.”

A Minnesota and Wisconsin licensed audiologist, Neve received his Certification of Clinical Competency as an audiologist from the American Speech Language Hearing Association in 1997. He has served for 7 years as an active member of the Minnesota Hearing Instrument Dispenser Advisory Council after being appointed by the Commissioner of Health. He is also a member in good standing of the Minnesota Academy of Audiology, American Academy of Audiology and the Academy of Doctors of Audiology.

Avada employs hearing instrument specialists and clinical audiologists who perform diagnostic hearing evaluations and rehabilitative services for individuals with hearing loss. In some locations, the company also offers vestibular testing and counseling for people with tinnitus.
