Oticon Inc, Somerset, NJ, expands its pediatric sales and training force to 20 members with the addition of four new Pediatric Account Managers and a new in-house Pediatric Audiologist. The new Pediatric Account Managers will help Oticon business partners improve their practices with timely updates on new products, marketing and special initiatives, especially those targeted to a pediatric patient base. The new in-house audiologist will complement the efforts of Oticon Pediatrics’ eight full-time audiologists in the field and the company’s FM support team. Oticon Pediatrics recently introduced a dedicated line at 888-otiped1 to better serve the company’s pediatric hearing care partners.
Christine Labenski, MA, CCC-A, has been appointed Pediatric Account Manager for Delaware, New Jersey, Metropolitan New York, and Long Island. Most recently a Territory Manager for Phonic Ear, Labenski brings 15 years field sales experience with hearing manufacturers to her new position and 11 years experience as a pediatric audiologist. She holds a master’s degree from Hunter College.
Ericca Hardee, MS, CCC-A, has been appointed Pediatric Account Manager for the Southeast region, covering Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North and South Carolina, and Mississippi. Errica earned her master’s degree in speech and hearing sciences at Washington University’s Central Institute for the Deaf. She has served as a pediatric audiologist, performing diagnostic evaluations for young children and newborn infants, and has conducted in-service training for educators using FM amplification systems in the classroom.
Robin Donham, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA, joins Oticon Inc as a Pediatric Account Manager serving the Southern region, including Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. Formerly an educational audiologist with a large, regional outpatient rehabilitation facility, Donham performed diagnostic evaluations, aural rehabilitation and provided educator training on hearing, hearing aids, FM systems and other assistive devices. She holds an AuD from Texas Tec Health Sciences Center.
Lavinia Fowler, MA, CCC-A, is the new Pediatric Account Manager for the Northwest, serving Colorado, Idaho, Montana, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. She brings 26 years of experience as a clinical audiologist to her new position. Prior to joining Oticon, Fowler provided training, support and technical assistance to practitioners for a leading hearing systems manufacturer. She earned a master’s degree in audiology from California State University, Long Beach.
Jennifer J. Caldwell, MS, CCC-A ,joins the Oticon Pediatrics team as the in-house support audiologist following a year as an Oticon customer service audiologist. Caldwell has over five years experience at a hearing and speech center, performing diagnostic evaluations, hearing instrument fittings on pediatric and adult populations, working with the cochlear implant team and monitoring all students enrolled in the center’s oral deaf education program. She holds a master’s degree from the State University of New York, College at Fredonia.
