Audioscan announced the launch of new software and hardware updates for the Verifit2 and Axiom hearing instrument verification systems. The benefits are said to include enhancements to client counseling, real-ear measurement, bone-anchored hearing device (BAHD) verification, and test-box verification.

Audioscan owners can download a complimentary copy of the 2020.1 Verifit2 and Axiom software by logging into customer.audioscan.com.

Core features and improvements available with the new software and hardware updates include:

2020.1 Software Updates:

Quick-access SII counseling –Generates an individualized SII graph to show the potential benefit of amplification for speech understanding (Verifit2 and Axiom).

Ambient noise level check for REM – Provides guidance on test signal levels that may be affected by environmental room noise. (Verifit2 and Axiom).

Verifit Skull Simulator (VSS) support for Oticon Medical Ponto 4 – Adds this BAHD to the device menu in Speechmap when verifying using DSL-BCD targets (Verifit2 & VSS compatible Verifit1s).

2020 Hardware Updates:

Articulated Reference Microphones –Easier positioning for test-box verification (Verifit2).

Accessory Storage Case – More convenient organization and storage for test-box components (Verifit2).

Upgraded Wi-Fi and Ethernet – Provides improved compatibility and connectivity of equipment for networking applications (Verifit2).
