Fuel Medical, a practice management resource company with over 1,000 affiliated member network sites, and Tinnitus Treatment Solutions (TTS), a telehealth tinnitus care provider, are collaborating to offer expert tinnitus care and advanced tinnitus devices under the name of Tinnitus Network and expand their ability to deliver excellence in care to individuals seeking relief from ringing ears, or tinnitus.

Tinnitus Treatment Solutions (TTS) This partnership allows tinnitus patients to initiate treatment either from TTS or from any clinic site in the Fuel Network. Fuel Network clinics will provide in-person care, which may include the diagnosis and medical assessment for conditions underlying tinnitus, and any amplification care for tinnitus patients with hearing loss. TTS audiologists will offer telehealth tinnitus care, such as expert patient education and habituation counseling, and the HaRTTM Clinical Care program with longterm monitoring and follow-up. A particularly notable aspect of this collaboration is that the Fuel Network is comprised of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) clinics that are a major focal point for patients getting a tinnitus evaluation.

The aim of the Tinnitus Network is to help patients benefit from having access to experts at each stage of the treatment process through a single entry point and by enjoying much of their care from the comfort of their own homes via telehealth. Through Tinnitus Network, Fuel and TTS are working together in an effort to help patients get information, find a care provider, get a medical evaluation and hearing test, explore treatment options, and find a personalized tinnitus management approach suitable to each patient’s individual needs.

“As one of the nation’s leading tinnitus care providers with the largest affiliated tinnitus care network that we know of, we are excited to be adding another 1000+ ENT sites to our existing partner network that now totals over 5,500 locations for patients to access expert tinnitus care,” said Bill Perry, CEO of Tinnitus Treatment Solutions. “We now have the ability to work more closely with the ENT community to further enhance the level of care we can provide to these often underserved patients. We look forward to being part of the continued wave of growth in telemedicine.”

Fuel Medical Added Dan Quall, director of managed health services at Fuel Medical, “Through this unique collaboration our members are able to expand their patient reach, standardize their tinnitus treatment protocol, and provide advanced tinnitus care while reducing the resources this high-quality care typically requires.”

Approximately 1 in 10 adults is affected by tinnitus. Historically, however, few clinicians have had the training, confidence, expertise, and experience to treat it effectively. This is changing with the development of partnerships like the Tinnitus Network and the growing use of telehealth tools.
