Company principals are David Yu, president and founder, who is a hearing aid veteran in the areas of technology and marketing. Ole R. Olsen, sales director in the California office,
has more than 30 years of progressively responsible positions in the BTE and custom hearing aid industry.
The parent company is located in the Xiamen Torch High Technology Industrial Development Zone, which is one of the three national level, high technology centers in China. They specialize in hearing aids, hearing protectors, and accessories, and produce and sell hearing aids with their own brand, and supply customers via OEM and ODM projects.
NewSound is the first independent Chinese manufacturer of digital hearing aids, according to a statement released by the company.
