The Ida Institute, based in Naerum, Denmark, announced that its website has been redesigned to optimize mobile access. Ida Institute’s web content, tools, and other features can now be accessed seamlessly via a wide range of mobile devices including laptops, tablet computers, PDAs, and smartphones. With just a tap of the finger, the announcement says, website visitors can view, browse, search and play videos from mobile devices and tablets.

Ida Institute reports that its revised website with optimized mobile access allows easy navigation to the Institute’s Toolbox by students, educators, and clinicians who utilize the tools in classroom and clinic settings. Site navigation was redesigned to be intuitive and quick so that users can find the information they are looking for with fewer clicks, no matter where they are, or which device they are using.

“In redesigning our website, we placed emphasis on mobile-responsive design, improved user interface, streamlined content and making the website accessible to as many people as possible,” said Managing Director Lise Lotte Bundesen. “As our content has grown, so has the number of people accessing our content and resources. We want to make it easier for visitors – both new and returning – to interact and engage with us.”

The enhanced visual layout, according to Ida Institute, allows users to preview the website’s various content areas and forums before moving on to more in-depth exploration. New content will reportedly include magazine-style articles that focus on broader topics, as well as Forum discussion highlights that showcase the diverse voices and contributions of Ida’s global community.
