Comfort Audio Inc, the United States importer and distributor of Halmstad, Sweden’s Comfort Audio’s assistive listening devices, has recently named Ragnar Ahgren as its new President.
Ahgren replaces Brian Kinnerk, who will remain a consultant for the company.
Ahgren has years of leadership experience with the parent company and is very familiar with the US
market, having lived in Chicago and helped establish the US subsidiary.
Comfort Audio’s press release stated that the new direction will allow Ahgren to forge closer ties with the parent company.
The press statement also noted that Kinnerk “contributed greatly to creating a vision, strategy, and new organizational structure for the company. Brian will continue to serve Comfort Audio Inc as an independent consultant, for which the company is grateful.”
