As more communities experience loss and devastation from the recent hurricanes, the Oticon Hearing Foundation has expanded relief efforts for the many adults and children with hearing loss who are affected, the Foundation announced. The Oticon Hearing Foundation supports a “Community of Caring,” comprised of hearing care professionals that help in-need communities obtain hearing care. Working through dedicated Oticon teams on the ground in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands, the Foundation is supplying Oticon hearing aids and batteries to local hearing care professionals who are volunteering their services to assist those in need.

“We are grateful to the many members of this very special Community of Caring who have so generously donated their time and expertise during this difficult time,” said Oticon President Gary Rosenblum. “I know that I speak for everyone at Oticon when I say that along with the donated hearing aids and supplies, we send our most sincere hopes for speedy relief and safe recovery to all who are affected.”
