Bloomington, Minn — ReSound has teamed up with Bosma Enterprises to provide hearing aids for multiple government agencies in the State of Indiana.

ReSound will provide products and services in support of a multiple award contract with Bosma Enterprises, a not-for-profit company that provides rehabilitative services and employment opportunities to Indiana residents who are blind or visually impaired.

“The mission of Bosma Enterprises centers around lowering the staggering 70% unemployment rate among people who are blind,” said Heather Quigley-Allen, senior director of marketing and resource development at Bosma Enterprises. “Our collaboration with ReSound means we can help create vocational opportunities for people who are blind or visually impaired while, at the same time, support hearing impaired ‘Hoosiers’ by enhancing their quality of life.”

Under a new contract with the Indiana Department of Administration, ordering and customer service support will be provided by employees from Bosma Enterprises who are blind or visually impaired, utilizing Bosma’s recently launched e-commerce platform.

ReSound said in its press release that it is proud to be a provider of hearing aid devices and accessories for government agencies in the State of Indiana.
