Ida Institute, a non-profit independent educational institute, has announced the addition of Anne Mette Jeppesen as project specialist and audiologist, and Amanda Farah Cox as Web editor.

In her new role, Anne Mette Jeppesen will call upon her experience in audiological research, clinical tools, and project management to continuously develop Ida clinical tools.  She will contribute to the development of Institute training seminars, workshops, and other outreach activities and will facilitate part of the Institute’s Vision 2020 process. Prior to joining Ida Institute, Jeppesen worked in project management for a global hearing aid manufacturer where she specialized in tinnitus research and the creation of clinical tools.  She earned a Master of Arts in Audiology and Speech Pathology at the University of Copenhagen and completed a thesis on cochlear implants.

As Web editor, Amanda Farah Cox will manage and develop digital content on Ida Institute’s award-winning website, idainstitute.com.  Her responsibilities include managing the online Forum, and helping to grow and engage Ida’s online community of hearing care professionals. Cox has worked as a freelance writer and editor for various magazines, websites, and newspapers in the United States and United Kingdom. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Sociology from New York University.
