Otometrics/Audiology Systems—a division of Natus Medical that’s a source for hearing care and vestibular balance equipment as well as Genie sound rooms—announced new dates for its annual Hands-on Training Series. The courses focus on evoked potential (EP) and videonystagmography (VNG), head impulse testing, and fitting techniques respectively. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Each course is offered at 0.7 continuing education units (CEUs). The 2017 dates are as follows:

  • September 13, 2017: The 7-hour Hands-on EP Training course includes VEMP training. This course was designed to address the training needs that will allow you to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in EP testing. Key training areas include frequency-specific threshold assessment techniques, troubleshooting practicum, and using EP to assess the dizzy patient, including ECOG and VEMP testing.
