The AuDLifestyle 5K Walk/Run “Hear to Move” event scheduled for the Friday of the AAA 2020 Convention, April 3, has been canceled. The AAA recently announced the cancellation of the Convention due to concerns about the spread of COVID-19.
The AuDLifestyle Committee, however, has come up with a contingency plan: The 2nd Annual AuDLifestyle 5K—Virtual, which will take place on April 4, 2020, from 6-8 am PST “from the convenience of your own cities,” according to an email announcing the new event. The organizers have asked participants to share photos, videos, and live videos showcasing their efforts. Dr Courtney Stewart will be streaming Facebook Live both on her personal Facebook page as well as the AuDLifestyle page at 6 am PST.
