Benson Medical Instruments announced that it recently honored distributors who provide their customers with outstanding customer support at the company’s annual sales meeting May 16-17 in Minneapolis. Benson Medical President, Jonathan Benson, presented Stephanie Billing and Kim Biro of Chesapeake Occupational Health Solutions (Hanover, Maryland) and Neil Adams of Foster Special Instruments (Cincinnati, Ohio) with gold certificates for Outstanding Customer Support by a Distributor in 2018.

“Benson Medical honors distributors who support not only the customers who use our audiometers and spirometers, but also the occupational health industry at large,” said Jim Teter, sales manager. “These awardees make a practice of getting involved in the industry at national and regional levels, sponsoring CAOHC and NIOSH training sessions, offering the latest technology, and creatively addressing customer needs.”
This is the fourth year of the award, which is open to all authorized Benson Medical distributors. It is the third time both Foster Special Instruments and Chesapeake Occupational Health Solutions have been recognized.

This is the first year of the award where honorees were divided into gold and silver categories, allowing Benson to recognize more broadly the excellent work being done by its distributors. According to the company, the gold awardees went “above and beyond in their hard work” in sales and in customer support. Benson Medical’s silver award recognized other dealers who excelled in 2018. The recipients of the silver award were: Donna Ward (MEDI), Claude Merriman (Audiometrics), and Mark Gamble (Occupational Health Dynamics).
Benson Medical Instruments Co. designs and manufactures audiometers, earplug fit testers, spirometers, and software to manage hearing conservation and occupational spirometry programs. Benson instruments are used in military, industrial, and government safety and health applications.
