The European Union of Hearing Aid Acousticians (EUHA) has announced its call for papers to be submitted in advance of the 65th International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians, now scheduled to be held in Hanover, Germany between September 15-17, 2021.

Due to the challenges of 2020, the 65th International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians had to be postponed to 2021. The EUHA Congress, with its accompanying trade exhibition, is one of the major conventions in the hearing acoustics and hearing systems industry. In addition to the trade show, more than 20 specialist lectures and various tutorials will be offered at the 65th International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians, EUHA says.
During the Congress, a broad range of topics will be presented, according to EUHA’s announcement, which will include international speakers discussing results of the latest research in audiology and medicine, with strategies for improving hearing aid fitting and connectivity in modern communication solutions, among others.
The special format for topics with a focus on the future scheduled for Friday, the third day of the convention, is known as “Future Friday.” Exhibitors will present special events at their trade fair stands and keynote lectures offered during the afternoon of September 17, 2021 will start at 2 pm.
Beate Gromke, President of the European Union of Hearing Aid Acousticians (EUHA), said, “In order to be able to continue the success of our former Congresses, we would like to invite you to take an active part in preparing and arranging the world’s largest event in our line of business. We look forward to suggestions for presentations from the fields mentioned below. Contributions should be submitted online by March 28, 2021.”
EUHA looks forward to receiving suggestions for presentations from these fields:
• Technology geared to compensate for hearing deficiencies;
• Measurement methods in hearing aid acoustics;
• Medical aspects of hearing
• Forward-looking topics;
Papers submitted should fit into one of the following categories:
• Research contribution;
• Practical report;
• Industry update;
