FrontRow, Petaluma, Calif, has ventured into the social networking realm with a corporate fan page on Facebook, aiming to increase brand awareness for its classroom amplification systems among the millions of users.

With some 70 million active users, Facebook is the Internet’s leading social utility.

“FrontRow’s leadership in leveraging Facebook to build their learning community is a stroke of genius,” says Robert Martellacci, president and publisher, MindShare Learning and the MindShare Learning Report. “This is an excellent portrayal of how FrontRow is evolving into the 21st century, and benefitting from a network that connects with educators worldwide.”

The interactive page updates educators on the company’s news, product overviews, events, contests, and sponsorships. A discussion board fosters educators’ sharing of feedback and success stories.

The Facebook page can be accessed by visiting the company’s Web site and clicking on the "Become a Fan of FrontRow, find us on Facebook" icon at the bottom on the homepage, or by visiting the Facebook Web site.

FrontRow is a division of Phonic Ear, whose wireless technology has helped build engaging learning environments since the mid-1960s. Since 2005, the FrontRow division has focused on using classroom amplification (sound field) technology to improve students’ listening success.
