Oticon More, “the world’s first hearing solution with an embedded Deep Neural Network,” announced that it has added three new awards from leading international award competitions.

The Business Intelligence Group selected Oticon More as a winner in its inaugural Artificial Intelligence Excellence Awards program. The awards program celebrates organizations, products, and people who bring artificial intelligence to life and apply it to solve real problems. Oticon More also joined a lineup of products from medical technology companies as a winner of the 2021 MedTech Breakthrough Awards, taking home top honors as the Best New Technology Solution – Hearing Aid.  The 2021 Red Dot Awards presented Oticon More with the third new honor. A panel of international jurors for the Red Dot Award recognized Oticon More’s design aesthetics that incorporate a variety of technical, performance, and functionality innovations.

A total of five global awards have celebrated the innovative technology of Oticon More. In January, the CES 2021 Innovation Awards honored Oticon More with awards in the Health & Wellness and Wearable Technologies categories.

“With Oticon More, we introduced a new and exciting perspective in hearing care — a groundbreaking, radically new approach to sound processing,” said Oticon President Gary Rosenblum. “We are extremely proud that our newest life-changing technology continues to gain international honors from leading healthcare and technology awards programs. These honors are powerful validations from respected authorities that resonate with consumers. They help to drive awareness not only of the benefits of Oticon More, but of the potential for quality hearing technology to improve hearing and overall quality of life.”

Highly Intelligent, Life-Changing Technology

Oticon More builds on Oticon’s BrainHearing approach to help provide the brain with “optimum input for better speech understanding with less effort.” Oticon’s newest “life-changing technology works more like the brain works because it learned through experience.” The innovative solution is “the world’s first hearing aid that uses an on-board Deep Neural Network,” which the company says is trained on more than 12 million real-life sounds.

Oticon More features Bluetooth Low Energy technology and offers a range of connectivity options to support high-quality listening in everyday situations. The rechargeable Oticon More miniRITE R uses lithium-ion batteries for a full day of battery life*, including streaming, after just three hours of charging.
