Supporters of the hearing aid tax credit recently visited Reps Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), and Shelley Berkley (D-NV) at their Washington offices to thank them for their support of the hearing aid tax credit.

The Hearing Industries Association (HIA) sponsored the AG Bell Las Vegas chapter brunch for Berkley in Las Vegas, and the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) and AG Bell Maryland chapters supper
event for Van Hollen in Washington. More than 100 HLAA and AG Bell members attended each event.

The lawmakers, both of whom are members of the House Ways and Means Committee, were presented with plaques commemorating the events. During the two separate meetings, Van Hollen renewed his commitment
to the Hearing Aid Tax Credit and thanked those in attendance for supporting his efforts to move the legislation, while Berkley also reiterated her support of the legislation.
