The Tinnitus Practitioners Association has announced that the second annual TPA: Sound Therapy Symposium and Exposition will be held September 14 – 16, 2016 in Memphis, Tenn, at The Peabody Memphis Hotel.

The TPA: Sound Therapy event is specifically related to tinnitus and sound sensitivity products and services. At the debut event in August 2015, industry manufacturers and practitioners gathered together in one location to share ideas and technology information. The goal is to provide audiologists with more information on incorporating tinnitus care and services into their practices.

“The TPA has provided a solid foundation for audiologists to treat their tinnitus patients, but they still have questions about the practice management side,” said Cindy Simon, board member of the TPA. “We feel that by bringing the audiologists together with manufacturers and practice management organizations, we can work on best practice solutions specifically for tinnitus practitioners.”

The TPA Board of Directors welcomes all audiologist to attend this symposium and exposition which will allow them to explore the latest in technology and tools for tinnitus practice management from industry researchers and experts. The event organizers are planning to have panel discussions for practitioners that work in different clinical settings such as private practice, hospital, or ENT offices. The theme for this year’s event, Get Your Ducks in a Row, is all about helping audiologists manage their tinnitus practice productively and profitably.
