Washington-based Audigy Group, a management company to independent hearing care professionals nationwide, has announced that its president, Mason Walker, was named to Portland Business Journal’s list of “Forty Under 40,” an annual award that recognizes accomplished business professionals in Oregon and Southwest Washington. Walker will be among the honorees celebrated in an event at Portland’s The Nines Hotel on Thursday, February 19, 2015.
According to the announcement from Audigy Group, Walker was hired as the company’s first employee in 2004, and successfully took on many roles in the company before being appointed president in 2011. Since 2004 the company has grown from $600,000 in revenue to $32 million.
“Mason’s leadership, passion, loyalty, and fundamental understanding and operating vision for the organization make him a role model for others,” said Brandon Dawson, founder and CEO of Audigy Group.“He has earned respect by being an example not only to Audigy Group staff, but also to our business partners, to our strategic relationships, and, most important, to our members and their teams. Audigy reports that the 2015 “Forty Under 40” list represents a record year for submissions, with more than 400 nominations collected by the Portland Business Journal. According to the Business Journal’s website, the selection of these individuals “should be considered a great testament to their efforts and accomplishments.”
