The Huffington Post’s Facebook page features video footage titled “What It Looks Like When People Truly Hear for the First Time,” which depicts the moments in the audiology testing room when patients who have received cochlear implants or other hearing implants get their devices “activated” by the audiologist…and first hear sound.
