As cleanup efforts continue in areas hardest hit by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, Miracle-Ear—a hearing aid company with a network of retail outlets—and the Miracle-Ear Foundation—an organization that supports underserved Americans with hearing care needs—want to help victims in Texas and Florida who may have lost or damaged their hearing aids during the storms, the organization announced in a joint press release.

Through October 31, 2017, Miracle-Ear will waive its loss and damage warranty fee for its customers who purchased hearing aids and are within their warranty period, so they can get necessary replacements without any additional expense. For Miracle-Ear customers who have older hearing aids and need financial help, the Miracle-Ear Foundation may provide support.

“Our hearts go out to those affected by these devastating storms,” said Vera Peterson, Miracle-Ear senior vice president. “Despite widespread damage in Texas and Florida, our offices in both states are open. Our hearing care professionals are ready and want to help people in these communities get back to their normal lives.”
