Patricia Gans, AuD |
Starkey Laboratories Inc, Eden Prairie, Minn, has named Patricia Gans, AuD as its regional sales director for Florida. Gans, co-founder of the American Institute of Balance, has an extensive career as a medical audiologist with wideranging experience in vestibular and hearing disorders and treatment in Massachusetts and Florida.
Gans has served as a clinical supervisor in otolaryngology and private practice settings, and the AuD programs at the University of South Florida and Nova Southeastern University.
Gans is a charter member of the American Academy of Audiology and the Florida Academy of Audiology, where she has served as president. She was a member of the inaugural AuD graduating class at the University of Florida and received her master’s degree from Northeastern University, Boston.
The global hearing-technology company employs more than 3,500 people, and operates 25 facilities and conducts business in more than 100 markets worldwide.
