Unitron announced the appointment of Aaron C. Jones, AuD, MS, as its Director of In-clinic Success. Jones is responsible for spearheading Unitron’s strategy to support practice growth among independent hearing healthcare professionals to promote the delivery of exceptional patient experiences.

“In-clinic success is critical to helping independent hearing healthcare providers weather changing market conditions by creating a highly personalized and differentiated hearing care experience,” said Mike Dittmann, president, Unitron US. “That’s why we’re so pleased to have Aaron join us. Unitron has earned a reputation for being the leader in providing patient-centric solutions which include our open platform technology, Flex, and unique software solutions including patient insights. Aaron’s rich background, encompassing hearing healthcare and other disciplines, will bring our in-clinic success strategy to even greater heights.”

According to Unitron, an effectively executed in-clinic success program will help hearing healthcare providers successfully contend with the forces of today that are dramatically reshaping hearing healthcare, including managed care and a general movement toward consumer-driven healthcare.

“Modern healthcare needs to be much more patient-centered, and Unitron really stands out as the leader in using in-clinic success to promote patient advocacy while improving the performance of practices,” said Jones. “I am excited to leverage my knowledge and experience as a  hearing healthcare professional and business owner to bring Unitron’s visionary in-clinic success initiatives into even more clinics across the US.”

Jones’ responsibilities include creating and delivering educational content for hearing healthcare professionals, drawing upon best practices from a variety of healthcare sectors. He’ll also work directly with Unitron customers to help them enhance the patient experience.

“Delighted patients are more likely to become ambassadors for their providers, who then realize an increase in repeat purchases and referral business,” said Jones. “When in-clinic success is done right, everybody wins.”

As a hearing healthcare professional and an entrepreneur, Jones has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including the VA San Diego Healthcare System and a private practice, Ear Audiology, Inc., which he founded.
