Christine Lomey Ulinski, AuD, an Illinois-based audiologist and vice chair of the Audiology Foundation of America (AFA), Lafayette, Ind, has been given the President’s Award by the Illinois Academy of Audiology (ILAA).
The award was presented to Ulinski, an audiologist at Hines Memorial VA Hospital in Hines, Ill, for her efforts in promoting the education and representation of audiologists in Illinois and for her advocacy of the profession.
It was presented by ILAA President Sumit Dhar, PhD, during the honors ceremony at the recent ILAA convention in Chicago.
The AFA is a nonprofit educational foundation that strives to empower audiologists to be independent and autonomous practitioners by supporting their educational preparation, professional practice, and leadership development.
