Golden Valley, Minn — Four hearing industry distributors have formally created The Special Instrument Advantage Group or “The Advantage Group,” and will service and distribute audiology equipment with improved service.
These four companies include Specialty Instruments Inc of Golden Valley, Minn; AcoustiComm of Covington, La; Acousti-cal of Titusville, Fla; and Bruce Waring & Associates of Ramona, Calif.
Collectively, the Advantage Group does business in 12 states and will continue to provide sales and service of audiology equipment to its customers, while using its wider coverage to improve services and offerings.
The areas covered by the new company include Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, northern Illinois, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and California.
The members of the group elected Jim Bremer of Specialty Instruments as its chairman. Rick Osborne of Acousti-cal, Lee Arceneaux of AcoustiComm, and Bruce Waring of Bruce Waring & Associates were elected to the Board of Directors.
