Stäfa, Switzerland — Phonak’s Ambra microM hearing aid has won the internationally recognized iF product design award in the category “medicine/health care.”

The International Design Forum “iF“ acknowledges ”excellent design from innovative companies.”

The Phonak Ambra microM features include SoundRecover, to add understanding capabilities; WhistleBlock, to reduce feedback; DuoPhone, for phone signal hearing in both ears; and SoundFlow, for continuous and instant optimization to all environments.

iF’s international jury of designers, entrepreneurs and professors rated 2,756 products from 1,121 participants in 43 countries. 993 were awarded and are now running for one of the 50 iF gold awards, which will be presented in spring 2011.

This recognition for Phonak Ambra microM follows 2009 iF awards for three other Phonak products: Audéo Smart, Audéo Mini and Click’n’Talk.
