Linda Russell & Companie will perform two shows with the aid of American Sign Language interpreters at the Mount Vernon Hotel Museum & Garden this summer.  With the support of a grant awarded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, ASL interpreters will be available Tuesdays, July 1 and July 22 at 6 p.m., bringing hearing-impaired children and adults access to Russell’s program of traditional ballads and stories of life in 19th-century New York City.

Held in the 18th-century Museum garden, the shows strive to take audiences back in time with tales of a bygone city.

Admission to all concerts is $15 for adults, $7 for children age 12 and under and complimentary to Museum members. A special discounted rate of  $7 per adult and $4.00 per child is available for those requiring ASL interpretation. Reservations can be made by downloading the Summer Garden Evening ticket form at www.mvhm.org or by calling the Museum at (212) 838-6878.
