Toronto — Vivosonic Inc has released the latest version of its Aurix™ newborn hearing screening system, featuring the ability to insert earphones with disposable ear tips, improved HiTrack integration, and more.

The new Aurix now gives users the option to minimize costs with standard insert earphones and a choice of low-cost ear tips, as well as circumaural Sound Stimulator and EarDomes™,which are specially designed for infants.

The latest features also include improved integration with HiTrack. Users can now customize screens to collect patient information and export screening data to HiTrack for enhanced data management, tracking, and reporting.

Additionally, Vivosonic has added international language support, enabling screening personnel to customize the software with the local language.

Aurix also now includes a battery pack charging kit, designed to optimize battery performance and reliability.

To celebrate the new release, Vivosonic said in its press release that it is now discounting the device until the end of 2011.
