Unitron Hearing, Plymouth, Minn, has announced the addition of several key staff positions: Keith Ring has been named customer service manager. Ring has been in the industry for 20 years in a variety of sales, marketing, and customer service management positions. He will direct the customer service team and holds a BS in business from the University of Rhode Island.
Jim Bonessi has been appointed regional sales manager. He will be responsible for sales in Maryland, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Delaware, and Washington, DC. He worked in pharmaceutical sales before joining Unitron and holds a BA from Duquesne University; Chris Lindsey also joins Unitron Hearing as a regional sales manager. He will cover Northern California and Nevada. Lindsey was a speech pathologist in California prior to joining the company. He holds a degree in speech pathology from the University of La Verne.
Deafness Research Foundation/NCHH
The Deafness Research Foundation (DRF) and National Campaign for Hearing Health (NCHH), Washington, DC, have announced the appointment of Michael C. Nolan, to the DRF Board of Directors. Nolan is senior managing director, private client services department, at Bear Stearns & Co Inc. He joined Bear Stearns in 1991 as the managing director in the private client services department. In 1996, he was promoted to senior managing director and continues to serve in this position. He began his career with International Business Machine Corporation (IBM) in Washington. Prior to joining Bear Stearns in 1991, Nolan spent over nine and a half years on Wall Street with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. He holds a BS in agricultural economics from Cornell University, and an MBA from Columbia University.
Nancy Dowell, Western inside sales representative for Bernafon, has been awarded an all expense paid trip to the US location of her choice in recognition of 15 years of service. She currently serves customers in the Northwest, Northern California, Nevada, and the Southwest.
