Plymouth, Minn – The Elite Hearing Network, a provider of support services to hearing professionals, is conducting a fundraiser for the Maui National Guard during Elite’s 2012 Annual Business Summit, February 9-12, 2012, in Maui, Hawaii.

The charity event, named “OPERATION SANDTASTIC,” is a sand sculpting team competition for the over 800 attendees and vendor partners at the summit. Participants must make a donation to the Maui National Guard to take part in the competition.

The local Maui organization, Family & Friends of Na Koa E Kapili, relies entirely on community donations to support deployed soldiers with care packages and appreciation events, such as welcome home or holiday parties.

During OPERATION SANDTASTIC, a local professional sand sculptor will be instructing participants on methods for successful creations, and finished sculptures will be judged by members of the National Guard and Elite Hearing Network management.

Paul Harkness, vice president, Elite Hearing Network, commented in the press statement, “Even with all the amazing activities available on Maui, we’re confident our Network members will choose to enjoy an afternoon of fun on the beach with their families and peers to show their support of our military, and we hope to have about 300 people participating.”

Elite Hearing Network, part of Amplifon USA, provides support services to hearing professionals, including competitive discounts, marketing support, and free patient referrals.
