Bethesda, Md — The Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) has received four Hermes Creative Awards for its 2010 marketing and communication campaigns.

The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of marketing and communication programs, as well as print, visual, and audio materials.

The four awards HLAA garnered included:

  • The Platinum Award for Integrated Marketing Materials for the 2010 HLAA Convention in Milwaukee;
  • The Gold Award for Integrated Marketing Campaign for HLAA’s Walk4Hearing campaign;
  • The Gold Award for Magazine Publication Overall Content and Design for the organization’s September/October 2010 issue of Hearing Loss Magazine; and
  • An Honorable Mention for Magazine Design for the January/February 2011 issue of Hearing Loss Magazine.

In the press release announcing the awards, HLAA credited and congratulated its staff, volunteers, and graphic designers who executed the projects on behalf of those with hearing loss.
