To celebrate this holiday season, ReSound, Bloomington, Minn, has made a substantial donation of hearing aid batteries to the organization Feed the Children valued at more than $75,000.
"We are pleased to support the efforts of Feed the Children," says Kevin Mensink, VP, marketing. "They have given the gift of hearing to thousands who are less fortunate. We’re proud to combine efforts to help those in need.”
Feed the Children, Oklahoma City, distributes food and medical supplies to those in need in North America and around the world. It has grown into one of the world’s largest private organizations dedicated to helping hungry and hurting people. Last year, Feed the Children shipped 133 million pounds of food and other essentials to children and families in all 50 states and in 34 foreign countries, supplementing more than 760,000 meals a day worldwide.
Since its founding in 1979, Feed the Children has reached out to help children and families in 119 countries around the globe.
