ReSound has been acknowledged with two awards at IFA, an annual consumer electronics and home appliances trade show, ReSound announced. ReSound returned to IFA this year to demonstrate the recently-launched ReSound LiNX 3D and the ReSound Smart 3D app, a teleaudiology solution that lets users request and receive remote fine-tunings of their hearing aids from their hearing care professional through the Cloud.

IHS Markit awarded ReSound LiNX 3D the IHS Markit Innovation Award, selecting it as the most innovative product in the fitness, wearables, and health devices category at the show.

ReSound LiNX 3D and the ReSound Smart 3D app were also recognized by the UX Design Awards, honoring them as a leading intuitive solution that prioritizes seamless human-technology interaction.

Launched in May 2017, ReSound LiNX 3D offers users sound quality, an enhanced fitting experience, and remote fine-tuning, according to the company’s announcement. This latest innovation brings comprehensive teleaudiology to hearing aid users, allowing them to stay in touch with their hearing care professional wherever they are by receiving on-the-go hearing care and new settings securely via the Cloud without having to schedule and travel for a clinic appointment.

“ReSound is committed to continuously improving the hearing care experience for our users through innovation, design, and leading technology,” says Helen Ljungdahl Round, senior vice president of global marketing and business development at GN Hearing. “ReSound LiNX 3D allows people to live the most active and inclusive lives possible wherever they are and whoever they are.”
