Williams Sound, Minneapolis, Minn, has announced Erikson Commercial as its exclusive new commercial sound distributor in Canada. Erikson, a division of JAM Industries, has been a distributor of audio and music equipment for more than 25 years.

According to the Williams Sound announcement, Erikson maintains an office and warehouse in Montreal, Quebec, and has a dedicated sales force that markets to retailers, commercial sound and lighting installers, and multimedia system integrators across Canada. With in-house marketing, sales, service, and parts departments, Erikson’s overall strategy as a distributor is to offer dealers and system contractors comprehensive, one-of-a-kind products and service.

“Having spent considerable time with the Erikson team at a recent Williams Sound training event here in Minnesota, we believe we’ve made an excellent choice,” said Doreen Ingebrigtsen, vice president of international sales at Williams Sound. “Erikson Commercial is knowledgeable, renowned and holds similar values to ours. Erikson is dedicated to providing the high-quality representation demanded by the world-class manufacturers they represent. We very much look forward to growing this partnership and building new business together.”
