More than 30 students from schools across the country converged August 5-7 in Scottsdale, Ariz, for Audigy Group’s Audigy University Student Summit, an exclusive program dedicated to helping highly accomplished AuD students learn about the industry, explore personal growth, and discover opportunities in private practice.

The Student Summit —conducted 4 times a year, and usually hosted at Audigy Group’s Learning & Development Center in Scottsdale—provides students a chance to network with peers from across the nation and Canada, interact with industry experts, and gain valuable career skills through discussions and workshops focused on:

  • Defining personal, professional, and financial goals;
  • Competitive forces in the hearing care industry;
  • Business operations and ownership, and
  • Creating patients for life.

The program is a key arm of Audigy University, which comprises a team focused on helping shape the future of hearing care. Through workshops, externships, professional placement, and school partnerships, industry experts emphasize best practices, duplicable systems, and team alignment. This course content taught to aspiring audiologists is necessary for patient satisfaction, consistency of care, and sustainable business growth.

Students selected for the summit compete in a rigorous application process for a scholarship for the 3-day workshop. As alumni of the program, they’re able to access resources such as AudigyCEO, an online network of peer connections, provider mentorship, and ongoing education.

“I really enjoyed the Student Summit!” wrote a participant in the event evaluations. “As a new professional coming into the field, I feel like I have a much better understanding of the private practice world and what Audigy’s mission is for the hearing health care industry!”
