Nearly 850 hearing professionals attended Audigy Group’s 2012 Team Summit, recently held at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas. The featured theme of this year’s summit was teamwork.

Audigy’s annual summit brings their membership together for continuing education, team-building, and innovation updates. The company reports that the 2012 summit was the most attended since the event’s inception in 2005.

The 2012 summit kicked off with an opening night welcome reception featuring the music of LeRoy Bell of The X Factor. The following day’s activities began with an opening address titled “The Power of We” delivered by CEO and founder Brandon Dawson.

Best-selling author John C. Maxwell was the summit’s opening keynote speaker, who provided insights from his recent book, The 17 Indisputable Laws of Teamwork. Other guest speakers included Lynn Taylor, developer of The Taylor Protocols; Tonya Reiman, author of The Power of Body Language, and closing keynote speaker Sharon Lechter, author of Three Feet from Gold.

The summit also included workshops, breakout sessions, and training on marketing, financial management, human resources, and professional development for practice owners, providers, and staff.

In addition to the educational events and speakers, Audigy recognized 50 businesses that achieved a 20% to 116% increase in revenue over last year. Another 25 individual providers were recognized for generating between $750K and $2.2M per year in individual revenue utilizing Audigy’s proprietary best practices tools.

"These businesses and their teams, along with each individual contributor, that lead by example in performance were recognized for setting the bar on what is really possible when someone is focused, committed, and determined,” said Dawson, CEO and founder. “Congratulations to all of those recognized for being a leader."

Audigy also used the gathering to announce several technology updates and features, including the introduction and beta test of Patient Home Page (PHP), a web-based patient portal for facilitating patient-to-practice communications. The technology-based website, agxhearing.com, dedicated to the AGX Hearing brand, was unveiled, and a new partnership with Hearing Fusion, an audiology-specific cloud-based Office Management System (OMS), was announced. Updates and advancements for existing technology solutions CEO, Pulse, and e-Patient were also revealed.
