Intricon Enters into Partnership with Puretone; Sells PC Werth to Warner Tech-care

IntriCon has announced a distribution agreement with Puretone Ltd, a UK-based hearing health company with operations in more than 75 countries and the sale of IntriCon’s London-based subsidiary, PC Werth, to Warner Tech-care Products. Warner Werth will be the new name of PC Werth, with Lee Heidenreich as president, and Joe Vespe and Stuart Axon directing the UK operations.

BIHIMA Releases Q3 Results on UK Hearing Aid Sales

According to BIHIMA’s announcement, the “most significant” development is the continued growth in the number of units distributed through the private market in the UK: the number of unit sales increased by 2,756 units (3.5%) from the previous year and by 2,638 (3.3%) from Q2 2018. YTD (year-to-date) unit sales were also up 3.8% from 2017.
