Varta announced it will present hearing aid batteries under the VARTA brand for the first time on March 30 at the AAA 2022 + HearTECH Expo in St Louis, where the company's full range of products will also be on display, including individual energy solutions for the industry.
The deal, which would include brands such as Rayovac—a leading manufacturer of batteries for many devices, including hearing aids—and Varta—a Germany-based manufacturer of batteries for auto and industrial markets—will potentially increase Energizer's pricing power.
VARTA Microbattery, which has been in business in Ellwangen, Germany for 125 years, is exhibiting its power one hearing aid batteries at the 60th International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians from the European Union of Hearing Aid Acousticians (EUHA).
