Otohub announced that it signed an agreement to become a “fully owned subsidiary of the Amplifon Group.” Amplifon—the world’s largest hearing aid retailer and owner of Miracle Ear, Elite Hearing Network, and GAES—will acquire Otohub’s assets, IPs, people, and customer contacts, according to the announcement. Otohub will continue operating under the Otohub brand.

This acquisition allows Otohub to pursue innovation at a larger scale and unlock new market opportunities having immediate access to Amplifon’s resources, expertise, and global presence, which will have a tremendous impact on our technology, development platforms, team resources, and outreach capabilities.”
In the announcement, Otohub says it “is very keen to start this new journey, accelerating development of new, technologically advanced products, improving the existing products line, designing innovative services, and redefining the way in which hearing care is provided to benefit customers worldwide.”
